About Us - Who We Are
The Solutions Team's Story
Our work began while managing a routine disaster recovery implementation for a major corporation in Central Mississippi in 2007. Todd Gooden—founder and CEO of our team—explored outsourcing several key components in an effort to minimize the company’s infrastructure expenses.
When he realized he couldn’t find a provider of the services he needed, he decided to take matters into his own hands.
In 2008, we started specializing in cloud technology. These tools saw us design public, private and hybrid cloud solutions for emerging and mid-sized companies seeking to protect critical server data like financials, email messages, databases, etc.
They also reduced operational costs in server backup and recovery.
Today, headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi, The Solutions Team is a leading cloud services company serving businesses nationwide (40 states).
We have emerged as the go-to provider for companies who want to outsource their entire IT department or deploy key portions of their existing systems to the cloud.
Our proven expertise in a variety of cloud-based managed services and solutions includes cloud-hosted email, managed email on-site, virtual IT support, managed networks, cloud data backup/disaster recovery and data breach response.
The Solutions Team has won numerous state and national awards, including the Best Places To Work in Mississippi in 2017 and 2018. It has also been named on the Pioneer 250 section of CRN’s 2019 Managed Service Provider 500 list.
Hosting in-house information systems and IT professionals to operate and maintain them comes at a significant premium. We help our clients avoid spending precious capital on hardware, software and upkeep costs associated with using multiple in-house systems.
The Solutions Team offers ultra-secure, multi-million dollar, high-redundancy data centers readily accessible to our clients, unlike the alternatives.
Our clients receive all of the benefits of an in-house information system and more diverse platform availability for a significantly lower cost of ownership.
Most importantly, we have the knowledge and experience necessary to help your business.
We build a case that estimates your savings from reduced operational costs and illustrates a compelling return on investment for moving to cloud-based managed services and solutions.
This demonstrates the technical benefits and soft benefits (non-financial), as well as the business requirements, financials and soft costs.
Leadership
Todd Gooden
Todd Gooden has always been driven. In 1996, he received the Mississippi Business Journal's ''Top 40 under 40'' distinction—awarded annually to rising business leaders throughout the state. He was twenty-four at the time, making him the youngest person to receive the award.
Two decades and three companies later, he recently received the prestigious award of The Most Successful Entrepreneurs of 2018 by Beyond Exclamation Magazine.
In 1995, Todd founded Consultrix Technologies, a technology services firm in Jackson, Mississippi. Under his leadership as President and CEO, the company was named in Mississippi Business Journal's list of 40 Fastest Growing Businesses five years in a row and reached annual revenue heights of $9 million per year before its sale in December 2006.
Nowadays, Todd remains driven for a good cause. The Solutions Team provides IT services in the healthcare, dental and legal fields, assisting 2.5 million patients and clients each year to receive care from their physicians and counsel. Todd was recognized by the Mississippi Business Journal as one of the state's top CEOs of the Year for 2020. As founder and CEO, Todd's goal is to increase the company's reach and touch 25 million lives each year by 2025.
''When you have a service that helps doctors, dentists and veterinarians in providing care, it would be wrong not to share it,'' Todd says.
Todd's drive expands beyond work. He's an avid whitetail hunter and enjoys all things outdoors, like boating, camping, golf and football. He lives in Brandon, MI, with his wife, Mrs. Brandi Gooden, with whom he has four children.
