Title: Sales Representative

Immediate Supervisor: Healthcare Team Executive

Description

The Sales Representative is a multi-faceted role: 

  • Develop relationships with prospects through multiple efforts
  • Cold calling
  • Trade shows
  • Sales blitzing
  • Other efforts as determined by team and manager 
  • Thoroughly document efforts in CRM 
  • Through conversation, identify prospect needs
  • Lead prospect to see needs as problems with significant implications. 
  • Offer TST products/services as solutions. 
  • Close sales
  • Appropriately transition prospects exceptions so project team is successful 

Sales Efforts

  • Timeliness, time management, documentation, and follow up skills required
  • Discipline is critical in this sales role
  • Ability to connect with decision makers (get past gate keepers)
  • Master knowledge of TST products/services to have discussions with sophisticated business leaders such as doctors, dentists, veterinarians, and CEO administrators. 
  • Art/skill of progressing prospect with appropriate close techniques 

Team Efforts

  • Weekly team meetings with collaboration from all parties
  • Provide feedback on team efforts and direction to improve effectiveness and win more business
  • Involve additional sales team members in sales opportunities as appropriate
  • Assist in setup and breakdown of booth at any conferences
  • Assist in direct mail pieces
  • Participate in weekly project meetings to discuss new implementations

Client Support

  • Serve as “Account Manager” for new clients sold by you as well as any assigned 
  • Develop relationship with client so that TST can get good feedback from client and also have opportunities for upsell 
  • Communicate with TST Support Teams and Management with client feedback

Position Requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • 2 years sales experience in high-consideration sales preferred
  • Healthcare and/or IT knowledge/experience preferred
  • Position is in Flowood, MS
  • Some travel required
